Apply for an apprenticeship

This process is for participants registered with a partner provider. Only follow this process if you have been instructed to by one of our partners.

You will need an NHS Leadership Academy ID to login to most of our systems. This is a 10-digit number.

Follow the steps below to check if you have one or create a new one if needed, and then to register for the Leadership Academy part of your programme.

    1. You may already have an Academy ID, for example if you’ve completed another programme. Please check if you can log in to the profile system first. There are options to request a password reset or recover your Academy ID via email.
    2. If you do not already have an Academy ID, please register for one on the Profile system.
    3. Your apprenticeship provider will provide a unique link to register for our programme which requires you to log in using your Academy ID.
    4. When you have fully submitted your registration form, please notify your apprenticeship leader and give them your Academy ID.

    At this stage, you will not have access to the virtual campus. Access will be granted on the virtual campus access date after your details have been confirmed between us and your apprenticeship provider.
